Relegation-strugglers Blackpool were brought back down to earth with a bump as they were hammered 4-1 by promotion-chasers Coventry in the Championship.
Middlesbrough missed the chance to close the gap on Sheffield United in second as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke. Elsewhere, Blackpool thumped six past QPR.
